Islands By Design Ltd. (IBD) was founded from its predecessor EIA (Bahamas) Ltd. in 1994 by its Principal, Keith Bishop. Mr. Bishop, a professional with over thirty years experience in project management, includes more than fifteen years experience as a local consultant in the Caribbean conducting environmental impact assessments. To date, Keith Bishop has performed environmental impact assessments on over one hundred and fifty projects ranging from small residential developments to major industrial and commercial projects. The success of his company is met by completing projects in a timely manner while keeping budget in mind at all times to the satisfaction of his clients. While focusing on the business, our company's staff also finds time to be involved in social and civic duties, being involved in with the following:

Bahamas Society of Engineers, Nassau, The Bahamas, Board member 2000-2002. Our Principal, Keith Bishop was elected Vice-President for the 2003-2004 term.
Member of the National Association of Environmental Professionals
Former Committee Member of the Bahamas National Trust - Islands By Design volunteers its staff in assisting with field projects including wetland restoration.
